When I stumbled upon this quote, it struck a chord because this is something we talk about everyday + especially so while raising two toddlers.
In addition, it feels as though all of the mature landscaping in our newly purchased home had at one time been given a lot of attention yet, it appears to have been a little neglected (overgrown) as though no one had “spoken to it” in quite sometime.
While it is a far cry from polished, the yard + it’s plants already feel a lot prettier + happier than when we arrived. What a beautifully put reminder of what a simple act of love from the heart can do!
