when we first started sharing posts here on the porch, the hope was to make it so all who would venture to this spot feel as though they were visiting right here with us! it’s been five years already + we’re looking forward to catching up with all of you!
there are so many magical moments that happen in these special spaces beyond the four walls of our home–mostly when it isn’t winter: catching the light from sun up to sun down, the summer rain storms, fireflies at dusk, shared meals, game nights, sushi nights by candlelight + so. much. more. i’m always driven to find new ways to share this magic, because we believe wholeheartedly in stewarding our blessings in a big, warm welcoming way. so please come one, come all + take a peek here. if you are nearby, this is your standing invitation–you just have to come over sometime for a visit on the joggling board with us, or the porch swing + who knows, maybe you’ll stay for a while so we can share a spot of tea or another cup of coffee, a charcuterie board shared six ways, happy hour or maybe we’ll just sit + talk for a spell.
