There is not much else that makes me feel so “at home” as the comfort a little lamp can provide.

it seemed the weather had wrapped up further productions for the season, though we were not without loss. Severe weather in the wee hours of Good Friday morning left us with a mess on our hands; amidst the havoc of a few fallen trees, was our beloved tiny house laid out in a heap.
my days in these first three months of 2019 have been hit + miss for early (sane) mornings, so as long as I stick to getting at least one devotional read with/preferably before breakfast, I am set for a great day with spiritual priorities in order.
The most passion-filled moments were in the arrival + departure, as they always are. The journey of coming + going deeply stirs my soul.

saturday was the day we have been waiting for! perfect weather + time to do many of the things we love together.
The light filters beautifully through the Georgia pines this time of year. I find a kind of magic in the Autumn sun’s dreamy ability to add the most cozy appeal to just about anything it shines on.
